 Pisces HydroClear filter kits
Includes Pisces HydroClear filter and Pisces Magnum Pump in a combination to suit your pond.
The Pisces HydroClear is a compact, biological filter featuring a PLS type uvc - this is the twin bulb with pins at one end. These have 30% more efficiency and 60% longer life than a standard double ended tube of the same wattage.
The HydroClear filter has a bottom drain plug for easy maintenance. This allows you to drain the water from the filter box and to flush sludge build up from the bottom of the filter.
The Pisces HydroClear has 3 chambers to allow the addition of other media types, such as alfagrog, should you desire. The chambers also allow the filter and media to be cleaned in stages, creating better preservation of the 'friendly' bacteria that colonise there.
Complete with biological and foam media, and bulb.
Pisces Magnum pond pumps are low energy/high power solids handling pumps. They utilise a ceramic motor shaft & bearings for trouble free continuous running. A Vortex Impeller provides an enlarged aperture for increased water flow.
