6 way Switch Box with panel mounted fuse and neon power indicator for ARMOURED CABLE
The product is housed in a two part surface mounted weatherproof enclosure, dimensions 150x110x70mm, manufactured from self-extinguishing, light-grey thermoplastic, which is highly resistant to impact, heat, chemical and atmospheric agents. The lid of the enclosure, is retained by four self-tapping screws and is sealed to IP44 with a neoprene gasket.
Fitted with Neon power indicator and easy access panel mounted fuse.
Fitted on the lid, is a mains warning label and the three switches that are used to control the appliances that are connected to the switch box.
The switches are covered and sealed with black flexible PVC boot covers.
Inside the enclosure, and fitted on the rear of the switches, is a printed circuit board on which is mounted four three way high quality spring leaf screw terminals, used for terminating the external cables, the blue connector is used for the incoming mains supply, also fitted on the pcb is the mains protection fuse.
Fitted in the bottom half of the enclosure is one three way heavy duty connector used for terminating the armoured cable. One 20mm armoured cable gland, along with six weatherproof cable glands, which will accommodate cables from 5 to 10mm in diameter.
Supplied with the product is a pamphlet on installation instructions, and two sealing plugs for unused cable glands.
It can be used for numerous applications such as controlling water pumps, flood lighting and UV filters as used for garden ponds. It can also be used for controlling patio, path and ornamental lighting.
