 Outdoor Garden Switch Box - 6 way
This weatherproof switch box is intended for use outdoors specially for water gardeners. This model is ideal for controlling up to 6 outdoor electrical appliances i.e. pond pumps, ornamental lighting, UV Filters etc.
Fitted with neon power indicator and easy access panel mounted fuse.
Installation is easy, all you need to do is remove the 4 self tapping screws to release the lid and connect your incoming mains to the blue terminal, and the outgoing supply to the black terminal blocks.
Controlling the devices is then as easy as using a standard light switch.
The switches are covered and sealed with black flexible PVC boot covers.
Inside the enclosure, and fitted on the rear of the switches, is a printed circuit board on which are mounted seven three-way high quality spring leaf screw terminals used for terminating the external cables.
6 Terminals are for use with the outgoing supply, and the 1 blue terminal is used for the incoming mains supply.
The appliances to be controlled are connected to outlets one and three; also fitted on the PCB is the mains protection fuse.
Fitted on the bottom half of the enclosure are seven weatherproof cable glands, which will accommodate cables from 5 to 8mm in diameter.
Supplied with the product is a pamphlet with installation instructions, and five sealing plugs for unused cable glands.
