White spot is one of the most common parasitic problems affecting fish. White spot is not visible to the naked eye in its swimming state or on the host of fish for the first 2 days. It grows rapidly and appears as small pinhead sized white spots on the body & fins. After 5-7 days the spots break up into smaller parasites and rapidly reinfect the fish.
