The Hozelock Vorton UVC has a unique design which turbulates the water, enabling increased efficiency by a more even exposure of the water to the UV light. The single-ended UV lamp emits 30% more UV light than a double-ended light of the same wattage. The efficient life of the lamp is up to 60% longer. Translucent hosetails which glow in operation eliminate the need to dismantle the unit to check if it is working. Other special features include 360° rotational inlet & outlet to make routing of the hose to and from the unit easier, and a dome-ended quartz tube for quick and simple cleaning (only having one end to open). The highly durable unit comes with a 2 year guarantee (excludes lamp). Clear water is guaranteed when used with correctly sized Hozelock Cyprio biological filter.
