The Hozelock Trinamic+ is a complete advanced filtration system for large fishponds combining a Hozelock Trinamic filter with a Hozelock Titan solids handling pump and Hozelock Vorton ultra-violet clarifier.
Dirty water is pumped from the pond through the Vorton UVC to flocculate algae. The rotating inlet of the Vorton UVC makes it very easy to attach the hose from the pond. The Vorton firmly attaches to a robust rigid metal plate, which connects to the top of the Trinamic vessel. The outlet of the Vorton UVC attaches directly to the inlet of the Trinamic.
Hozelock Titan Pump
These are specifically designed for continuous use and to cope with solids up to 10mm without blocking. They are particularly suited for filtration, waterfalls, and watercourses. The large intake slots at the bottom of the pump are designed to pick up the large particles from the bottom of the pond and prevent a silt build up. Removing all the dirt and detritus from the pond into the filter box, means a cleaner, healthier environment for your fish. Just slide the lever at the side of the pump to close the intake slots down to as small as 2mm, as required (i.e. spawning time).

Following on from the success of the Titan range, Hozelock Cyprio have added the 12000 & 15000 models. They are all given extra secure cage locking latches, still allowing tool free access. Additionally a ball joint is incorporated on the outlet, making routing of the hose even easier.
Hozelock Trinamic Filter
Water enters the biomodule at high velocity, spinning the unique Kaldnes K3 Biomedia. This moving bed technology is widely regarded as one of the most advanced biological filtration methods. With the high overall surface area of the K3 media and the inclusion of a set of oxygen enriching Venturis, the biomodule holds a colony of beneficial bacteria far in excess of many filters of equivalent size. With the K3 continually bumping into each other, the weakest bacteria are constantly falling off thus speeding up the breakdown of harmful soluble pollutants as only the strongest, most efficient bacteria survive. The biomedia are self-cleaning - pond debris passes through to the foam module. Any sludge build-up at the bottom of the biomodule can be removed by simply opening the sludge drain. Solid matter is trapped in a series of fine cartridges in the foam module. An indicator alerts the user that the foams need cleaning. This can be done without the need to remove the foams. The resulting sludge can then be removed by opening the sludge drain. The water then passes through denitrifying bacteria which grow on the Cypripak Biomedia in the dark, still, final chamber located under the foam module. Clean and healthy water is then returned to the pond.
Hozelock Vorton UVC
The Hozelock Vorton UVC has a unique design which turbulates the water, enabling increased efficiency by a more even exposure of the water to the UV light. The single-ended UV lamp emits 30% more UV light than a double-ended light of the same wattage. The efficient life of the lamp is up to 60% longer. Translucent hosetails which glow in operation eliminate the need to dismantle the unit to check if it is working. Other special features include 360° rotational inlet & outlet to make routing of the hose to and from the unit easier, and a dome-ended quartz tube for quick and simple cleaning (only having one end to open).
