Duckweed can cause a pond to appear unsightly and make fish and wildlife more difficult to observe. Banish Duckweed starves duckweed of the nutrients it requires to thrive. Dead and brown duckweed should be removed from the pond with a net. Do not spray over marginal plants and lilies.
